Let me start by saying that this is definitely one of my top five albums of 2009.  I listen to this album at LEAST once a week, along with their previous releases of course. The album opener "All Hail"  is one of the best damn songs ever written, period. That can also be said about the remaining 11 tracks. And I can definitely relate to the words of "Gracefully Facedown", you know, being from New Orleans and all.  Seriously, if you have never heard these guys you are missing out.  I was also lucky enough to catch them when they passed through NOLA at One Eyed Jack's and they were even better live.  If you like traditional country music or any of the modern day outlaw/alt country acts then you must give these guys (and girl) a chance.

Well I'm having  a hard time, walkin' a straight line....

  1. This is really cool. And I normally can't get into country.

  2. Yea, they're great. I'll probably put up some of their other albums too, along with some similar country bands.

  3. Hey man, great fuckin' post! Somebody turned me onto these guys' Myspace a while back and I loved it but couldn't get a cd so forgot all about them. Very cool band. You might have just opened a floodgate my brotha. This is my kinda shit and I've got tons of it. Comin' your way shortly. Awright.....

  4. Yeah, this is what I'm talkin' about!!! Thanx, brother!

  5. Don't you just love this album!? It's addictive that's for sure.

Love It? Hate It? Let us know!
