Forest of Fog is a one man black metal project from Switzerland, and believe me when I tell you that Ivo can really tear shit up on the guitar. This is mid-paced black metal with a lot of very melodic and memorable parts. Abgründe is Forest of Fog's latest cd and I've been waiting patiently for a new one but I really don't know what's going on with that. In the meantime, I'll also try to post up his other full lengths.

This solo project from Zhaaral of Darspace fame is just brilliant. This is a spacey, tranquil mix of black metal and ambience which is sure to leave you in a state of wonder. I have a feeling this is going to make my top ten of 2009. Sit back with your headphones and favorite bowl of kind bud, crank it up and get ready for a whole new world.
