Salad Fingers

Sunday Driver on Tour

Hailing from Bielsko-Biała, Poland. Sunday Driver on Tour was
formed in 2008. Sunday Driver On Tour music is a mix of hard rock,
metal, stoner & southern rock influences.

"The idea to form a band reaches 2006. Zaczek & Malin who were playing together in NDC, decided to occasionally jam with their friend Molfer, ex-guitarist for the band Necrossis, who just got back from the army. The project work-name was “The Fridge”. The guys started to loosely jam and write some songs together. Unfortunately Zaczek’s & Malin’s obligations with NDC made it impossible to give their full attention to the project. The turning point appeared to be the breakup of NDC in 2008. Shortly afterwards the guys decided to focus on “The Fridge”. They found the drummer Talle’y from an advert. His unique drumming style seemed to fit perfectly for the project needs. It was then, when the band started to write their proper material, and it was also then when the bands final name Sunday Driver On Tour was decided. After few months of playing together, the quartet started to look for a lead singer, which eventually become Koper. Zaczek & Malin knew him from academic circles in Cieszyn, where they were collaborating in a project called Ilinks. Sunday Driver On Tour debut gig was on september 19th 2009 in Primus Pub in Czechowice–Dziedzice. In December the band went to Parabellum studio in Katowice to record their first EP called “Tales From Beyond”.

Sorry for not posting as of late, I've been busy with work and all, but I found a little time to post this
! Here you have Subvert, a band from the Pacific Northwest that played a style of fast metal tinged hardcore similar to The Accused or "the mighty" Poison Idea but more politically charged, Amebix comes to mind! Subvert was in existence from 1986 - 1991, this slab complies almost all of the bands output, minus a split Lp with Antischism, titled "Thinning The Herd" from 1991. The singer, Eric Greenwalt went on to form Christdriver that put out an Lp on Profane Existence and now plays in a band called Black Noise Cannon. Check this out and chatter back!

Ancient Chinese Secret - Caveat Emptor (1999)

Genre - Hardcore/Experimental
Origin - San Francisco, Ca.
Time - 27.9 min
File - 53.88 MB (320 kbps)

What we have here is one of the most adventurous and exciting forays into the fringe of extreme hardcore in a long time (the fringe of the fringe you might say). A.C.S. consists of two long time mainstays in the power violence underground, namely Matt Martin (ex CAPITALIST CASUALTIES) and Chris Dodge (SPAZZ, Slap A Ham Records, etc) teamed up with trained female vocalist Lydia Dodge who admits to not even liking power violence. The result is an experimental hardcore album that captures the imagination, revels in eclecticism, and still manages to rock your pathetic world. With only bass guitar, drums, vocals, and various key and tape loop embellishments A.C.S. do things with their music that I guarantee you've never heard the likes of before. Their uniqueness is so much a part of their sound that even from track to track they are vastly diverse. Whether it is a song like "The Basics" that has the flavor and directness of early NOMEANSNO or "Sakura" which is as close to "normal" power violence as A.C.S. gets or even the organ interlude "The Overlook", ANCIENT CHINESE SECRET will keep you guessing. Anyone interested in hearing something different needs to check this out. Folks who gravitate towards bands that reject the norm (MITB, GASP, etc) will find their new gods in A.C.S. because in a lot ways this album bridges the gap between the familiar and the bizarre. It has enough roots and simplistic pummeling power to connect it to hardcore fans yet is left of center enough to appeal to fans of music that is way "out there". Hopefully people are smart enough make the connection because it would be a crime if this album got lost somewhere in the middle. (Jeb Branin/In Music We Trust)

Hiatus - Old Fashioned Shit For Consumers (1995)

Genre - Crust
Origin - Liege, Belgium
Time - 67:27 min.
File - 134.16MB (320kbps)

Hiatus formed in May [[1989]], at this time the line up was Phill, Ben, Raf and Phil. They played in a [[Doom (band)Doom]]/[[Discharge (band)Discharge]]/[[Extreme Noise TerrorE.N.T.]] style and recorded a rehearsal demo called "The Frightening Men Story". In May 90 they put out their second rehearsal demo called "In My Mind" and soon after Wills joined them on bass. The band went into the studio and recorded a set of songs which were released on two 7"'s and various compilations. Their first 7" "I don't scare easily but..." was released on the French label Urban Alert rec. and had a second pressing on Nabate/Mother Peace rec. A split 7" with RMR from Japan called "Severe Existence" was Hiatus' second 7" and was released on the Japanese label MCR Co. Phil and Raf left and some new members joined: Azill on guitars and vocals and for a short time Vrokker and Leffe from [[Chronic Disease (band)Chronic Disease]]. During August 91 Hiatus toured the U.S.A and Canada with [[The Wurst]] from Rhode Island and played with bands like [[Rorschach (band)Rorschach]], and [[Born Against]]. In November 1991 they recorded another studio session. From this recording the "Way Of Doom" 7" and Hiatus/Embittered 7" were released in 1992. In February 1992 Hiatus toured Europe with No Security from Sweden, also in 1992 they toured the UK with [[Mushroom Attack]] from Holland. In 1993 their "From Resignation ... To Revolt" LP was released on [[Sound Pollution]]. Hiatus also toured Europe and Eastern Europe that year. Among others, there were four dates in Sweden, booked by the band [[Viktors Haufnarren]] and [[Resistance Productions]]. The four France dates ere booked by [[Six feet Over]], [[Ultimate Disorder]], [[Catalogue Du Grand Nord]] and [[Maloka collective]]. In early August they made a five dates tour in Spain with the band [[Six Feet Over]]. The tour was booked by a member of the Spanish band [[Positi Caustico]]. The 15th of August in the "Festes Alternatives a Gracia" in Barna date was a huge success, with thousands of punks and anarchists. Hiatus played there with the band [[Speereth]]. The last date in the tour was in Luxemburg, toured by Diff ([[No More]] and [[Subway Arts]]). In early '94 the Doom/Hiatus 7" was released. In February 1995 they recorded their "El sueno de la razon produce monstruos" LP. In June '95 they toured the USA and Canada again. A self titled mini LP was released on Skuld Releases/[[Profane Existence]] in 1996, the songs on it showed a big progression from their earlier releases with elements of modern [[hardcore punkhardcore]] being added to their [[crustpunk]] sound. Azill and Willy from Hiatus also play in [[Unhinged]] who have a 7" and LP out on [[Nabate]]. (myspace)

This killer disc came out on Ataque Sonoro, a label from Portugal. I always dug the sound that Hiatus created. I caught wind of these Belgian ragers from my friend Joe, by being a regular at his record store. He would always have the turntable blasting, usually new slabs that he had just got in before they made their way into the bins and into his collection.
One day back in '91 I stopped in to see what was new and he was blasting the "Way Of Doom" ep that he had just got in from Profane Existence, a label and zine that he stocked regularly. I immediately asked who was playing on the turntable, he told me and showed me the little stack of copies he had just unpacked and I purchased a couple of copies and was hooked.
This disc is comprised from the bands works between 1990 - 1994. What you get is demo's, live tracks, comp tracks, ep's & split ep's. Missing material in the bands catalog is "The Frightening Men Story" demo(1989), "From Resignation..To Revolt"Lp(1993), "El Sueno De La Razon Produce Monstruos"Lp (1995), Hiatus MLP(1996). Here's their page so go pay them a visit. Enjoy!

Heavy Hardcore Headroom - (1996)

Genre - Hardcore, Crust, Sludge
Origin - U.$
Time - 73:53 min.
File - 142.61 MB(320kbps)

Heavy Hardcore Headroom CD is a compilation of bands recorded by Bill T Miller at Headroom. These bands were recorded in a raw anti-production style and are from the 1990-95 era of Headroom Studios.

HHH CD is a collection of Heavy and/or Hardcore bands, I recorded at my small, no frills Half-Inch 16-track. Each of the bands have their own political views and musical styles. I record them in a raw, live, no-budget, DIY, anti-production style. I have my own bands (Out of Band Experience and King Of Feedback) to indulge my own weird-wacko fantasies as a musician. As an independent engineer/producer, I record at many larger more deluxe studios. ExtraTerrestrial Discs is a NO-budget DIY label set-up to release OBE and KOF music, I don't really have the money or distro to release other bands. I was very lucky to have connected with IZUMI from PEFE on the internet. PEFE is perfect, small enough to have DIY ethics, but large enough to be professional with good distribution. THANX for listening to HHH! =Bill T. Miller (Bill T. Miller.com)

The Sex Maniacs (2004)

Genre - Hardcore, Punk n'Roll
Origin - Leeds, U.K
Time - 21:53 min.
File - 43.53 MB (320 kbps)

Sometime in 1999 four cunts got together in a practice room above a shitty record shop, broke out a bottle of JD and decided to become the ultimate rock and roll band. Although at the time three of these cunts were in the ultimate hardcore band this just was not enough, there was much more to prove. After about 30 minutes they had achieved their goal and wrote a bunch of songs that would later be released by the cuntish Eccentric Man Records as the critically acclaimed album Mean as Hell. To many Mean as Hell is a humbling experience and much demand was placed on The Sex Maniacs to perform live. They took to the boards like a tranny to lipstick, smoking every shitty band they came into contact with. The success of Mean as Hell left the band reeling, the album had gone global thanks to a reissue by the american emo label Manic Ride Records. Never had so much alcohol, narcotics and girls been thrust toward one band. Work on the follow up to Mean As Hell began but after 15 minutes, with half an album written one of the cunts (Heysi) decided to leave the band. The Sex Maniacs are only human and this kind of living can take its toll. After four years of constant abuse Heysi had to bow out, he could not take another day and became disillusioned with the rock and roll experience. Another cunt (Farley) was quickly recruited and after a further 15 minutes the follow up record had been written. Farley fit in nicely and delivered everytime but the sex maniacs soon faced another bass player related tragedy. Farley, like the true sex maniac he is likes to play hard and sometimes folk take exception to this kind of behaviour. No sooner had he joined he was picked up by the law, wanted for crimes that cannot be discussed here as it may harm his appeal and done got slung in the clink! So once again The Sex Maniacs found themselves without a bass player, but a replacement was waiting in the wings in the shape of Dougie from Gentlemans Pistols. The Sex Maniacs are once again pumped and ready to take the stage and that second album is in our sights. If you want to book us then start saving up for our rider and get in touch. (last.fm)

Track List:
1. Dollar$
2. Time To Rock
3. Sabretooth
4. Gimme Nothing
5. Four Big Dicks
6. You'll Never Learn
7. Don't Hate Me
8. Broken Down Clown
9. All That Fire
10. Prick
11. Illegal Libido
12. Conjugal Blues

The Sex Maniacs feature 3 members of the UK hardcore band Voorhees and a member from The Horror. The sound they create here is nothing like either band. Think Dwarves mixed with Motorhead and Bon Scott era AC/DC. This is the state side release that was put out by Manic Ride, the label that Deadalive records morphed into. Both Deadalive and Manic Ride put out some killer hardcore slabs in the late 90's and early 2000. I think the label is now defunct, but I used to follow it quite closely and own a lot of their output. The paragraph above says it was a emo label but it must be a joke.

No bullshit hardcore from Florida. Fronted by Bob Suren who ran Sound Idea Distribution, Burrito Records and fronted Murder Suicide Pact. I bought their S/T ep way back in 1993 from my friends record shop, Below Zero Records and was hooked. I then managed to pickup all their output, which is represented here. You'll hear a little Negative Approach in their delivery. Hit this to check out an old interview done with Bob from 2008.

XCoalition Against ShaneX - Down With The King (1998)

Down With The King

Genre - Powerviolence
Origin - Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Time - 42.5 min.
File - 82.15 MB (320kbps)

XCoalition Against ShaneX is a band that me and a friend started for the sole purposes of being idiots and making fun of people. All of us in D.o.M. and XCASX have been friends for a long time, and are complete jokers and fools. We started off making fun of this kid Shane (original D.o.M. bassist) for being a complete skid and all of a sudden it blew up. I never thought it would go any- where, but a lot of kids are into this band. I think my favorite thing about XCASX is the fact that like 95% of the lyrical content, no matter how shocking.. .is completely true. Yes, we did make a kid eat a raw onion for a demo, yes, there was a kid named Tobe that drank a bottle of pee to amuse us, and ye.s we did get drunk metalheads to harass Corpsegrinder at a Cannibal Corpse show. We're dorks, but it's harmless fun, until someone gets stabbed with a pitchfork, which actually happened at a XCASX show, but that's a story in itself. We've collaborated with such heroes (well, to us anyway) as Dan Lilker of Brutal Truth, Chris Dodge of Spazz, and the mighty rock warrior THOR. We did a couple of demos that went out of print and were pressed onto the "Down with the King" CD on XProphecy RecordsX which is also out of print. Right now, we have" a split CD with THOR called "Keepin" the Dogs Away" which is doing really good. We wanna revive THOR, so we can tour with him and PILEDRIVER. (MRR interview)

Track List:

Check out the song titles and you can pretty much guess what's in store for your earholes from this Cannuck 4 piece. Information on this band is pretty elusive. I took the info above from an old interview the guitarist, Domenic did with Maximum Rock n Roll about his other band Day of Mourning and XCASX came up in the conversation. Check out the interview here. The cover of this disc is pretty funny,Screech (Dustin Diamond) chillin with King Daimond. Comments accepted!

Down With The King

Grimple/Logical Nonsense - Split (1993)

Grimple/Logical Nonsense

Genre - Metal infused Hardcore Punk
Origin - Oakland, Ca./Santa Fe, NM.
Time - 34:41 min.
File - 68.47 MB (320kbps)

GRIMPLE was formed in November 1990 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, a town cradled by the Blood Of Christ Mountains. We were raised on metal and early hardcore, but we were never afraid of listening to other types of music, like the SUGAR HILL GANG. GRIMPLE moved to Oakland, CA in August of 1991. The first GRIMPLE recording was a four song EP called, "Get Me Out Of My Van, I Have No Key." It was recorded in our Oakland practice space by Noah Landis (Neurosis) and our friend Darby. The music was melodic punk rock mixed with fast hardcore. GRIMPLE recorded its first full length LP, "Up Your Ass," in March of 1992. It was recorded by Kevin Army in San Francisco at Sound & Vision Studios, and mixed at Dancing Dog Studios in Oakland. "UP YOUR ASS," was first released by M&E Records (Murray Bowles and Eric Yee), and It was later re-released by East Bay Menace Records. Our first LP was a success, and thousands were sold in the states, as well as Japan. We completed our first American tour in 1992, and it consisted of playing small clubs, basements, and garages. It was fun, and it was a great introduction to freedom for all of us. Both of these records are now available, once again, from Prank Records. GRIMPLE'S next recording was a split LP with LOGICAL NONSENSE. It was recorded once more by Noah Landis in July of 1993 at Sergay's Recording Emporium. Our sound was still fast punk, but we were revealing more of our metal influences. This record was originally released by East Bay Menace records, but is now being pressed again by Prank Records in San Francisco. -Pat Vigil

LOGICAL NONSENSE Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the six individuals comprising LOGICAL NONSENSE have been a band since 1989. no longer together, they began playing together in their early teens and - with no member changes - they have grown and evolved, creating a singularly unique, brutal style of hardcore. The drummer, Pat, says that being together as a band became a dominant force in their lives. He attributes their learning to play music together at such a young age to their closeness and dedication to each other and the music. Known for their fast, aggressive style, their music has progressed over the last three full-lengths (’93’s Dead Time LP on Very Small Records, Soul Pollution LP/CD), becoming heavier and lyrically and musically more personal... Back when we started, the music was more influence-driven. Soul Pollution, engineered and mixed by Neurosis’ Noah Landis, is a touch more stripped down and driving than the more recent Expand The Hive. But it’s every bit as brutal. It’s the aural equivalent of drinking a bottle of Jack Daniels, inhaling enough toxic drugs to bring down an elephant and then driving 100 miles an hours round hairpin turns with nothing but a rocky cliff and the ocean to catch you if you fall. Reminiscent of bands like Extreme Noise Terror and early Napalm Death, LOGICAL’s sound has grown more and more ferocious and unrelenting with each recording. Alternative Tentacles head honcho, Jello Biafra, claims they renew my faith in the power of hardcore, and they fill the gap left by Sepultura. The lazy listener may make the incorrect assumption that heavy = metal. But there is so much more to LOGICAL’s sound and to the people who listen to them. Their sound doesn’t easily fit into a genre, a category or a classification. Pat agrees, I don’t want to be classified. I want as many people to listen to our music as possible. LOGICAL NONSENSE’s aural attack leaves a residue upon your psyche not easily wiped clean. One listen to Soul Pollution or Expand The Hive and it will weigh heavy on your soul. With a brutal, rapid-fire verbal attack, singer Mikey Miller writes songs that revolve around a myriad of themes: corruption, social decay, despair, hypocrisy, addiction, stagnation and even aliens. Logical Nonsense belongs to of a new generation of extreme hardcore. Myspace

I bought this the day it hit the streets and I found it tucked away a few weeks ago and put it into heavy rotation around my compound. My boy and I have been circle pitting around the coffee table and doing couch dives ever since...haha! This nice little slab came out on the short lived, East Bay Menace Records out of Oakland back in '93. On this split both bands came out sounding a bit heavier than their previous outings by adding a little metal into their hardcore punk giving both bands a nastier sounding edge. Check out Logical Nonsense and Grimple, good tunes.

I thought I would make my first post coincide with my first CD purchase ever. The Grindcrusher Various Artists compilation released by Earache/Combat in 1990. I bought this when I was 11 years old in summer of 1992 at a little used record/book store in Santa Cruz California called Logos. I went there looking for Napalm Death and found the next best thing, or maybe even better. A compilation with all the greatest Earache bands at the time (or ever). Here you will find the most known bands including Morbid Angel, Repulsion, Carcass, Bolt Thrower, Entombed and of course Napalm Death with more obscure bands such as Sore Throat, Naked City, Sweet Tooth, Spazztic Blurr, Mighty Force and Hellbastard. This was a treasure trove of underground Death Metal, Grind and even Noise and Electronic back then, which were completely new to me at the time. Grind Crusher was eventually re-released in a hacked up form with most of the rarer tracks cut off, but this is the original complete version. Enjoy!

SMD - Hatefed Motherfucker 666 (2004)

Hatefed Motherfucker 666

Genre - Hardcore Thrash
Origin - Pico Rivera, Ca.
Time - 23:14 min.
File: 48.54 (320kbps)

It started back in Jan. of 1990 in my garage in PICO RIVERA,CA with the Our first line up. (Vocals-Maury,Guitar-Burgie,Bass-Raul,Drums-Murtle) In Oct. of 1990 Rito joined the band on Drums and Murtle switched to Guitar. In 1992 we were ready to go in the studio to record our first demo, which was a 5 song cassette. At the time we where playing a lot of Backyard Gigs all around L.A. In 1993 we went back into the studio to record our first 7” which was a 9 song E.P. (SMD s/t 7” 500 pressed -out of print) that we released ourselves.

Around the same time shows started to get harder to get, so we played a few clubs in HOLLYWOOD and I remember one night at the ANTI-CLUB the owners were so pissed off at us, that when the show was over as they were kicking us out they said “you will never play HOLLYWOOD again” but we didn’t give a shit. In 1994 our friend Mike moved up to the Bay Area. So we had a out of town contact. By the beginning of 1995 we started going up North and playing shows all over the Bay Area with his band OPPRESSED LOGIC. We ended up meeting a lot of cool people which we are still in contact with today.

In 1996 we went back in the studio to record our second 7” which was a 8 song E.P. (SMD “KING OF DRUNK” 7” on BEER CITY RECORDS 1,000 pressed on Beer colored vinyl-out of print). The line up at the time of this recording was, (Vocals-Maury,Guitar-Burgie,Drums-Rito,Bass-Rose). In 1998 we went back in the studio to record another demo which was a 17 song cassette. The line up for this recording was, (Vocals-Maury,Guitar and Bass-Burgie,Drums-Rito). In 2000 we went back into the studio to record our first Full Length which was a 15 song CD (SMD “PISSING BEER” CD on KING OF DRUNK RECORDS) the line up on this recording was, (Vocals-Maury,Drums-Rito,Guitar-Nick,Bass-Rose).

In May of 2002 we were playing a show at Gilman St. In BERKLEY,CA. After our set my friend Jeff asked if we would be interested in putting out a full length on his label (SIX WEEKS RECORDS) So it took us 1 year and 4 months to come up with this MOTHERFUCKER! In Sept. of 2003 we went into the studio to record our second full length which was a 16 song CD (SMD “MOTHERFUCKER 666” CD on SIX WEEKS RECORDS) Released April of 2004 The line up on this recording was, (Vocals-Maury,Guitar and Bass-Burgie,Drums-Rito) In Oct. of 2004 we went on our first tour out of CALIFORNIA covering most of the Southwest. We met a lot of cool people and I’m sure we pissed off a few on the way just by our nature. (from their myspace page)

Track list:

I caught wind of these guys after picking up the "King of Drunk" 7" that came out on Beer City Records in '96. I was glad to see these guys hooking up with the cool people at Six Weeks Records and putting this disc out. They will be making a jaunt up the West Coast in August, maybe more dates will be added by then? Hit up their page by clicking here.

Strong Intention - Each Day Lived...An Act Of Defiance (2000)

On tour next month with Eyehategod. Check 'em out!!

"Formed in 1993, STRONG INTENTION continues to deliver brutal hardcore fueled by extreme speed, heaviness, and disgust. The band's earliest incarnation found itself heavily Influenced by classic NYHC outfits such as AGNOSTIC FRONT, BREAKDOWN, and the CRO-MAGS, and released the What's At Stake demo in 1993. These early recordings aligned the band with ultra-tough heavy hardcore represented in Maryland by NEXT STEP UP and GUT INSTINCT. But by 1995, issues of focus took their toll on the lineup, leaving then-guitarist Zac as the only original member, and putting the band into a year-long hiatus. In 1996, the band re-formed around a new core lineup, and the new members brought a new, diverse range of ideas and influences to the band. Gradually writing faster and faster material, the band released a debut 7" EP in 1996 on Crucial Blast. This EP was a minor departure from the earlier heavy NYHC hardcore the band had been known for; as the newer material was much faster and moved Zac over to lead vocals. After the EP was released, STRONG INTENTION continued to go through a myriad of lineup changes throughout the 90's; yet managed to tour the US and Canada 5 times.

Through all of this, the band's sound has continued to shift more and more towards the harshest ends of the underground extreme hardcore / metal spectrum, as well as cultivate a thoroughly apocalyptic worldview.

Recent actions have included the May 2002 STRONG INTENTION / CRIPPLE BASTARDS East Coast tour, the release of the band's latest recording, a 14 song CD entitled Extermination Vision, released on the European label COALITION RECORDS, and a BRAND NEW split EP with Germany's Y. Over the past 2 years, the band has also released their debut LP/CD, What Else Can We Do..., as well as the 10 song 7" EP Each Day Lived An Act Of Defiance on California label SIX WEEKS.

Strong Intention also completed a May 2004 East Coast tour with PHOBIA and ROTTEN SOUND (Finalnd) and just completed a 40day US summer tour with crossover legends D.R.I.

2005 saw more touring from S.I. , including 2 US tours and about 75 shows for the year.

In 2006 the band did a Feb/March US tour with NEURAXIS (Prosthetic), which included west coast dates with IMPALED and DISFEAR and marked the bands first show ever in MEXICO. The band followed up that tour with an east coast/midwest tour with DISFEAR,MISERY INDEX, PHOBIA and 9 SHOCKS TERROR. It was definitely a career high point as far as touring goes.

Once the tour was completed the band went into the studio with STEVE AUSTIN (TODAY IS THE DAY) and worked on the follow up to Extermination Vision. 18 songs were recorded and 2010 will finally see the release of the new cd.........FREEDOM IS SLAVERY !!" ~ Band's Myspace

This Comp Kills Fascists - Vol. 1 (2008)

Here's a really cool compilation that's the perfect soundtrack for whenever you just have to break some shit. The Agents Of Satan tracks are just sick!! Actually, the whole comp is sick. "Joe Ryder" has to be one of the coolest new songs (to me, anyway) I've heard in a while. Good listening...

"Conceived and collected by Scott Hull (PIG DESTROYER, AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED) in the tradition of the legendary Cry Now, Cry Later compilations of the 90's, 'This Comp Kills Fascists' brings together over 50 tracks of the very best of today's underground grindcore, hardcore, and power violence bands. 'This Comp Kills Fascists' features new and exclusive material from INSECT WARFARE, MAGRUDERGRIND, KILL THE CLIENT, and more, as well as the first new material in almost ten years from AGENTS OF SATAN and legendary grinders BRUTAL TRUTH. 'This Comp.' is fast, loose, ferociously independent, unpretentious, and fun. Recommended If You Like: NAPALM DEATH, BRUTAL TRUTH, PIG DESTROYER, NASUM, SOILENT GREEN, DESPISE YOU" ~ Amazon

The Poots - The First Four Rears (2006)

The Poots formed in 2002 from the left overs of 'Anal Goobs from Pluto' and 'The Dead Geezers'. Guitarist Bill Ding started writing goofball punk rock tunes like a gopher in heat. Meanwhile, vocalist Ric Poot recruited a slew of couch potatoes and rejects to form the legendary Fart Club. The Poots then became a genital rock supergroup of volcanic proportions before they could even record their first album!

Then, one wretched day in 2003, "Fart in Your Cup,” was unleashed upon the public.

Fans clinged to The Poots like flies on shit. The hit "Lettin' it Loose" was proclaimed a rock epic by Shichapants Magazine, the premier publication of the genital rock movement. Recording offers started blasting in. The Poots were eventually picked up by Rectum Records and were signed to a 32 album contract. Their first release from Rectum was a cover album entitled 'R.I.P.' They attacked a variety of classic punk rock tunes and added to them a stinky new twist never before heard by man. 'Poots 3' soon followed to little acclaim, and 'Poots 4' entitled "Rare Nugglets" was only released to a then shrinking Fart Club. Only with the release of 'Poots 5' would these goofballs reclaim some shred of their former demigod-like status.

With 28 albums remaining under contract The Poots are kinda fucked.

Current Members include: Ric Poot (vocals),Bill Ding (guitar), Poo Powers (bass), Cap J Freeley (drums)

Killin' Werewolves - Me-Maw Demos

While Killin' Werewolves are still a pretty new band, they have been stirring up some ruckus down here in the "Chocolate City".

"Were still a pretty new band, only been together since i want to say the summer of '08. Mason, our drummer, and I, Wes who plays bass, have been friends for a long time and we're in an Alk3 style pop-punk band called Attack the Gas Station for a while that played a good bit of shows. Daryl, guitarist, and Drew, the other bassist, were playing in a band called Party Time. Drew and Daryl wanted to play more poppy music while Mason and I wanted to play heavier. We all listen to all kinds of music but as a whole our band is obsessed with The Refused and Jewel. Playing a show on Feb 6th with Worn in Red (no idea records) and The Lollies. We have an ongoing contest with The Lollies to see who can put on a more violent show." - Wes
