Church of Misery - Greetings From Jonestown (E.P. 2009)

Genre: Stoner/Traditional Doom
Lyrical Theme: Serial Killers
Origin: Japan (Shinjuku, Tokyo)
Formed In: 1995

Lineup:
Tom Sutton - Guitars
Tatsu Mikami - Bass (G.A.T.E.S., Sonic Flower (Jpn), Salem (Jpn))
Junji Narita - Drums (Sonic Flower (Jpn))

1. Jonestown Massacre (Jim Jones) 12:47
2. Der Hund Von Baskerville 2:27
3. Marmor, Stein Und Eisen Bricht 2:09
Total playing time
17:23

This is Church of Misery's newest release and the first song is a non-stop guitar jam mixed with Jim Jones clips and I'm loving it. I've always been into cults and cult leaders, so this tune really is perfect to me. The next song seems to be Sabbath's "Paranoid" with German lyrics, but the lyrics are changed to be about The Hound of the Baskervilles. Odd, indeed, but it's cool as hell. The 3rd song is also sung in German and it's another unusual but awesome track. I can't even describe it, so see for yourself.
