Falling Sickness was a short lived band from Riverside who released two albums and this is their 1st (and best). They play fast as hell jumpy frantic ska punk without horns in the vein of the great Operation Ivy. After their breakup, they went on to form The Dogs of Ire. Check them out if you feel like bouncing around like a madman.

Really good Garage Punk from San Francisco, Ca. featuring former members of Supercharger and Mr. T Experience. Look at them on the cover, that's how they played live, dressed in all black with nylons over their heads and energy you wouldn't believe! I'm not really fully into Garage Punk but bands such as The Rip Offs, Supercharger, Teengenerate and Loli & the Chones really get my attention. This is a really fun listen that rocks by pretty fast, just keep hitting the play button!

Let me start by saying that this is definitely one of my top five albums of 2009.  I listen to this album at LEAST once a week, along with their previous releases of course. The album opener "All Hail"  is one of the best damn songs ever written, period. That can also be said about the remaining 11 tracks. And I can definitely relate to the words of "Gracefully Facedown", you know, being from New Orleans and all.  Seriously, if you have never heard these guys you are missing out.  I was also lucky enough to catch them when they passed through NOLA at One Eyed Jack's and they were even better live.  If you like traditional country music or any of the modern day outlaw/alt country acts then you must give these guys (and girl) a chance.
