Vampire Mooose - 2003 - Self Titled

Currently, Vampire Mooose is recording their third full-length album on Rotten Records and shooting their first DVD. This album will be the follow up to 2006's Serenade the Samurai and is scheduled for an August 2009 release date.

In 2007, Vampire Mooose was named in the top 20 most requested metal albums on Hard Attack/Sirius Sattelite radio. For 6 weeks we were the number 1 most requested on "The Devil's Dozen" metal request show.

Unorthodox, unrelenting and utterly unpredictable, St. Louis quartet Vampire Mooose may well be the meanest musical beast you'll ever encounter. It certainly will be one of the most unique. Fusing death metal brutality and raw hardcore intensity with abstract, progressive arrangements and jazz-like instrumental dexterity, Mooose sounds something like the progeny of an insane cross-breeding of Meshuggah, Dillinger Escape Plan, and Obituary; only weirder and more vicious.

Vampire Mooose has received much respect in metal, spawning a number 1 song on XM digital satellite radio charts, also winning Best New Artist and Best Metal Band. Vampire Mooose has been featured on the covers of several major music magazines and seen on both Fuse, and MTV's Head Bangers Ball. Can you handle the Mooose?
